Great venue for live music. We were there to hear our friend, Eric Scott, perform from his new CD.

Atmosphere was great, food was good. Although busy the service was good and it wasn't so loud you couldn't hear your own conversations. An enjoyable time. Would recommend giving it a try. Decor and food kept with the music theme.

Our server, Chris, was wonderful. Service with a smile and very pleasant. You could tell that she wanted to make our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious also. We had a small white pizza as an appetizer and the four of us really liked it. This time I had the Club sandwich, only I get it with the 7-grain bread. And got a side salad to get some greens in me. It looked more the size of a regular salad. The 7-grain bread was nice large slices to hold the plethora amount of food inside. I was too full to have desert again. Maybe next time.

Awesome spot, live music and sound is phenomenal, food is very good and priced fairly. Very friendly staff, good deals on beer and appetizers. I had the Chili Mac and the Sinatra sandwich with home made potato salad. Outdoor area with heaters looked nice, but we stayed inside.

What a great place! Super popular on Sundays. Note, if you are not familiar with the area The Music Cafe is ticked away in between a bank and Animal Clinic.

Full disclosure: I used to work here, and I wanted to write this review as a way to thank the owner Randy and his wife for giving me a job. They treat their employees right. Short Review: Great place to bring you family and friends for good sandwiches and weekend music. Can't beat the price. Long review: I have to say, I have worked in a lot of restaurants and bars, and this one was the best by far. The staff all have good attitudes and always try to form a good rapport with the customers. They are always extremely friendly and helpful to whomever walks in. The food is great for what you pay, honestly, its the best sandwich/cafe in the area. You simply wont find a better place for the price. You could pay 1.5x the price in DC and not find something as good as this. They never disappoint. The music is just an added bonus, the acts there are always fun. Can't say I am into all the music that they brought in, but the musicians seemed practiced in the art of live performing.

From the moment I walked in, the feeling of welcome was evident. The service is fantastic. The food and coffee are great. It has been compared to Barking Mad in Gaithersburg, I feel this is an injustice to The Music Cafe as it is steps above the other. Handicapped accessible and parking. Music on Friday and Saturday nights. Kid friendly. Just an awesome experience and worth the time to get there.

Great atmosphere and people. I tried the homemade soups. Chili was great, subtle heat. Cream.of crab was excellent. Sherry was high, but amazing flavor and crab.

I was recently introduces to this hidden gem! I never noticed it, as the location is a bit nondescript, nestled between a veterinarian and a bank, but my fiancee introduced me when he invited me here for the absolute best pumpkin spice latte ever! I love the atmosphere and vibe here, so I came back to have a breakfast sandwich, and of course another latte. Absolutely delicious! The people who work here are so friendly and the service is outstanding. I can't wait to come back to enjoy some of their many events and to hear some live music!
